I’ve shared a lot on the importance of self care and for one main reason … it’s just that important! I know you’re busy. I know you have a crazy life. I know, trust me, I know. Is it hard to remember to take care of yourself sometimes, yes. But none of that diminishes the importance of the act of self care.
So many people tell me “I don’t have time.” This is such a common theme with my private coaching clients. Time. It seems so arbitrary right. Can you measure it? Can you manage it? My very super simple answer is … wait for it … No! Don’t worry because I’m going to explain what I mean by that next.
We have so many things to to! So many appointments to be at, transportation to arrange, deadlines to meet, chores to complete, and the list just goes on and on and on. But, then what? What about YOU? Here are my three simple steps to be sure you have time for YOU!
Take care of yourself first. Why? Because if you don’t take care of yourself and bring your best self then you won’t be able to serve the people in your life. Many people overlook this key factor in their own health and wellness. I’m going to show you a few simple reasons why this is important and you’ll be able to get starting with some changes right away!
Stress and overwhelm are everywhere. They seem to take over our lives sometimes, don’t they? It can certainly feel crazy at times and of course some times are worse than others but, in the end, it’s stress. What is it and how you’re handling it can make or break your lifestyle. Let’s just dive into that a bit deeper.
I’m going to guess that you have a ton of responsibilities in your life. Maybe you have a job where you work for someone else and have to meet their expectations. You can find information circulating anywhere about the pros and cons of taking a vitamin supplement. I’ve read tons of articles supporting both sides of that argument.
