Have you ever wondered about the Fountain of Youth?
I remember I went to visit the Fountain of Youth quite a few times in St. Augustine, Florida and the water packed a pretty strong sulfur smell so I wasn’t about to dare drink it. But, was I missing out on some youthfulness by choosing to pass on the drink?
Possibly … but I’d take that chance! haha
But, there is more research coming out now on the aging process. There hasn’t been anything found that stops it, but you can certainly learn ways to slow it down and even reverse it.
To remain alive, your cells generate a continuous flow of energy.
When energy is produced by burning hydrocarbons such as coal or oil, the result is residual waste pollutants that damage living beings.
A similar event occurs during cellular energy metabolism. Left behind in the energy cycle is toxic debris. This toxic debris is what causes additional damage to cells, and speeds up the aging process within the body.
The primary way cells “clean house” is by a process called autophagy. This is where the cells remove damaged proteins and other metabolic waste products.
Autophagy defines a natural process whereby cells clear damaged proteins and other metabolic waste products.
More evidence is showing that an autophagy process that is not fully activated is the driver of premature aging.
Recent studies show that almost every intervention proven to extend healthy lifespan involves activation of autophagy by removing toxic cellular waste.
Restoring balanced autophagy is a critical factor in reversing biological aging.
So, what does this mean for you?
Reducing your toxic load should be a primary driver in your health and wellness goals. Toxic load is part of what I shared above, this cellular toxic debris that builds up in your body, but it also includes chemicals you’re exposed to such as cleaners, pollutants in the air, chemicals on/in your foods, chemicals in your perfume/cologne, chemicals in your personal care products like shampoo, conditioner, facial cleansers, soap, toothpaste, deodorant, etc.
This doesn’t mean you have to move into your own personal bubble, but it does mean you should have someone helping you decide on a path that’s best for you to transition into natural, healthy alternatives.
This is exactly what I do.
If you’re open to trying natural alternatives, great, I’m happy to help you.
If you know someone who is open to natural solutions and you trust me to help them with the best ability, I would really appreciate the referrals.
Here’s to clearing out those cellular toxins!
