Did you know that some children don’t believe that other people think differently? This can be very difficult because it can lead to them, in our terms, acting out, having a tantrum, or having an episode. It also can lead to difficulty with socialization, communication, focus in school or work, and more. Developing natural coping mechanisms during this is important and there are many natural solutions that can help. Here are just a few that help with calming your child’s mind.

A calm mind is a mind that can focus and remember better. That’s why it’s so important for you to support a developing mind. Using natural solutions is an easy way to do this without adding in additional chemicals or synthetics which could increase inflammation and/or delay development.

  1. Aromatherapy.
    • Aromatherapy has been used for many years to support healthy mood. Aromatherapy is also a great way to support a healthy and open respiratory system. If your child’s respiratory system is open and flowing clear, then it will lead to improved brain health due to oxygen supplied to the brain. When choosing essential oils to use aromatically, it’s important to consider the source. Be sure to choose a brand that sources indigenous (where the plants grow naturally) and be sure the company can provide you access to the results from the long list of texts an independent testing facility (not part of the company) performs on the essential oil. If you’re interested in using aromatherapy with your child but aren’t quite sure where to start or what to get, let’s connect so I can help. I understand it can be confusing and scary. I’m here to help you through it every step of the way. Get the most tested essential oils here.
  2. Natural Whole Food Supplements.
    • Supplements are important for brain health and development. Unfortunately, our foods are not as nutrient dense as they used to be. This means you should be taking a whole food supplement. But not just any supplement. You can’t settle for anything less than the best when it comes to your health and the health of your family. A whole food supplement should contain your essential vitamins and minerals, omegas, and herbs. And, just like aromatherapy, not all supplements are created equal and they should be researched prior to starting any new program. With my research, these vitality supplements are the best.
  3. Essential Oils.
    • Essential oils are powerful components from plants that naturally help and support the 11 systems in our body. Certain essential oils contain chemical constituents that help to calm the body emotional, mentally, and physically. Combine those essential oils with other essential oils that have been researched to support cellular health and you will have a great natural remedy you can carry with you, or your child can carry with them to school, to use when trigger symptoms start to come on. Just as I said before, it’s important to have a quality company that maintains the integrity of their essential oils without using chemical solvents to distill them. You can purchase the highest quality essential oils here, and they’ll arrive super fast!

I am excited to help you on your journey!

Have an Abundantly Healthy day, and, until next time …
