The holidays are quickly approaching. This time of year should bring joy and happiness but all too often we find that it brings stress, anxiety, and bloated tummies! I’m going to share with you some easy things you can do to have a better Thanksgiving, and holiday season. Are you ready for this?

Thanksgiving makes me think of family, friends, loads of food, and good smelling stuff.

But, is that always what comes along for the holidays?

Not necessarily… sometimes there are family feuds, uncomfortable conversations, and people you haven’t seen possibly since last year that ask awkward questions. This might lead you to over-indulge with the food, sweets, and drinks.

So, for that reason, I want to share with you a wonderful routine to get you through the day, as stress-free as possible.

You should first have yourself in the right mood to prepare to see all the people, and this diffuser blend will help as guests arrive. For this, I recommend diffusing medical grade essential oils. Research shows that aromatherapy directly affects your mood and emotions. My recipe below is a combination of uplifting and invigorating scents.

Relatively Happy Diffuser Blend

(this will help you with “those” relatives!)

Staying stress free might mean you should have something special and handy in your pocket so you can use it quickly when you need it! For that, I recommend making up this rollerball blend. It’s simple to use, just roll it on the inside of your wrists, behind your ears, along the back of your neck, and even on your forearms. You’ll need one for you, of course, but I recommend making up a few of these and handing them out as gifts as guests arrive.

Now, prepare your digestive system for this potentially massive meal you’re about to consume. It’s bound to happen. This time of year comes around and you’re tempted. Just be prepared with this recipe! Use this before and after your meal!

Here is a BONUS diffuser recipe to have going when it’s time for desert! I call it:

Pumpkin Pie Diffuser Blend

Now, once all the feasting is over and all the guests leave (or, you’ve left your host’s house) and you’re making it to your own bed… now, you need something that will help you sleep it all away. For that, I recommend this diffuser blend for your bedside diffuser!

Peaceful Restful Dreams

BONUS TIP: I recommend taking 1 drop of each of those above (Restful Blend, Reassurance Blend, and Copaiba) in the palm of your hand, rub your hands together and hold them a couple inches from your face, then take at least 5 slow deep breaths in and out breathing in the amazing aroma. Once you’re done breathing it in, you can rub your hands on your chest, on your scalp, or even on the bottom of your feet.

Sweet dreams to you!

I hope you’ve enjoyed this post as it walks you through a great day and how you can use medical grade pure essential oils to help not only manage your anxious feelings and stress but also support your body in a more natural way.
